An incredible find by Mike Farmer on my Birthday! In just a few days of hunting, we picked up just over two kilos of this fantastic meteorite. We have been back to the location many times since and have not found any more pieces of the Middle East's only Pallasite! These are my lsat two large pieces, don't let your Pallasite collection go without this one! Lots of crystals and desert patina on this one, a beautiful wind polished surface reveals the large orange olivine crystals and the tpyical 'gold plated' looking patina that is often exhibited by high iron omani metorites that have been exposed to minerals in the soil during the sporatic moisture. This piece measures 47mm x 23mm x 13mm.
